Imaginary friends.......Ever had one?

Have you ever had an imaginary friend before? Or has your child ever had an imaginary friend? I never had so i wouldn't know how the feeling is. People who have imaginary friends usually creeps me out. Why? Because they are talking to themselves and doing things with themselves and they think that someone is there with them. But, sometimes, its usually true that someone is there with them as a ghost or some sort. Maybe its because they are feeling lonely or depress or something, i don't know, but it creeps me out. Have you ever had an imaginary friend? If you did, what was his/her name and when did you stop believing he/she was real?

My oldest daughter made up an imaginary dog when she was like 2 years old. I can remember one instance while in the grocery store while shopping she would start calling her dog. She would say, "Come on BJ!" People would look at us and wonder where her brother was. I had one man stop and offer to help find him once and I had to explain that BJ was an imaginary dog. That is something we joke about still to this day. Kids are so much fun!
