my game won't accept the rosebud cheat

i tried to use the rosebud cheat but it won't accept it. it just says no such cheat! can anyone help me with this

If you are playing Sims 2, the cheat code for money is different from Sims1. For $1000 it is kaching, and for 50,000 it is motherlode. Hope that helps!
