Did you see the movie Rock Star?

I saw it two times. I love Rock-Metal scene and music and this movie is really great. The main character is played by Mark Wahlberg, he is a singer of a Steel Dragon cover band who gets in the original Steel Dragon band. This story was inspired by the story of Judas Priest: the legendary singer Rob Halforb was replaced by an unknown singer and great Judas Priest fan. Zakk Wylde too has a role in this movie!

I watched some of it, but I can't remember much about the scenes. Yes, it's an inspired true story, and again, I didn't actually knew from who and what band it was inspired from. Guess I have to look and watch for that movie again, because I love Mark Wahlberg's performance there!;) That's when I learned that he too, was a former singer(a rapper to be exact).. Thank's also for those other additional infos, I'm gonna look for their names at the end of the movie!;)

Another noteable thing is the switch from the metal scene to a more calm grunge scene, with Mark singin in clubs and not in stadiums anymore, with a more grungy look.

i saw it a few years ago and as far as i remember it is a nice movie.
