Following the same principle that it's easier to prevent some conditions than treat them, try to incorporate stress-relieving techniques into your daily routine to keep stress from accumulating in your mind and body. Think of several activities (not necessarily 'active'!) that you enjoy and find relaxing - reading, meditating, exercising, taking a hot bath, talking to a friend, playing music, and so forth. Make it your goal to spend half an hour each day doing one of these things, whether it's a different activity at a different time each day or not. Let "enjoyment" be your guide.
2. Can't Wake Up For Exercise?
Some of us are committed to our morning workout, while others can't fathom getting out of bed and hitting the gym so early. Here's a way to bridge the gap between guilty rest and early adrenaline: do your abdominal work in bed. That's right: while you're still lying in bed, do 25 ab crunches. You'll have to focus on keeping your back flat and you might not lift your upper back very high, but you'll feel the burn and the satisfaction of having part of your fitness routine accomplished early. Add a few more
each day.
3. Alternative Health A Soothing Headache Remedy
Bad headaches can leave you debilitated for hours. Rest, relaxation, and some aspirin are the standard remedies to cure your pounding head. However, there is a natural remedy that may have you back on your feet in no time. Stress, too much caffeine, or even poor posture usually causes headaches. Pain is triggered by muscle tension that dilates blood vessels and puts pressure on sensitive nerve endings in your head. To relieve tension, try soaking your feet for 10 minutes in water as hot as you can stand it. Simultaneously, apply a compress dipped in ice-cold water with two drops of lavender essential oil to your forehead. The hot water will dilate the blood vessels, increasing flow to your feet and drawing it away from your body, while the lavender, oil will relax tense muscles.

Oh Kathy, I know this is not relevant to the topic so I beg your indulgence for posting this. I just have to get this out - when I read your topic, I misread it as "pass the strip test". I bent forward to take a closer look.. what strip test??? Only to realise I was mistaken. :P
