The Strangest/Grossest Thing you Eat

What is the strangest thing you eat that most people find gross? I really like crackers with butter. This was not weird to me as a child in Illinois, mainly because a lot of restaurants served this as an appetizer there. When I moved to California, and ate this in front of some friends, they were appalled like it was never heard of and ultimately gross. LOL still a favorite in my book.

I am very picky, and will not eat or try anything that looks gross.
Now my husband on the other hand will eat all kinds of sickening things. He loves an egg omelet with jelly, sardines, and herring. I get sick thinking about it.

Well I like mayo on my french fries, especially McDonald french fries...
I like mixing cherry jubilee and mocha ice cream together..
I love Hi-C and Sprite mixed together..

Yum, I absolutely love mayonnaise on my fries too! But I usually mix ketchup and mayonnaise together. I like juice and Sprite mixed together too, especially cranberry juice. Now the ice cream...lol you are on your own on that one!

The strangest "delicacy" I ate is named "boddle". The first and last time I ate such was way back my high-school during the Army Training days.
Prepare your taste buds for this recipe.
All trainees' food and drinks are mixed together in a one huge basin. Add some water. Add some sticky old socks. That's it! It is ready to be serve.
As I write this, I can still taste the gross thing.

Yeah, Apparently that is delicacy in some regions in the world. (Isn't it called escargo?) Yuck-LOL you can count me out on trying it. I am pretty open to trying new food, but some things just should not be eaten. Snails is one of them.

I could eat steamed mussels with melted butter and worchestshire sauce all night long, but my daughter and wife think I'm strange for liking them.

I too like mussles. I love them when they are offered at a seafood buffet. (Cuz I have never made them at home before.) My mom likes them too, but no one else I have ever been out to eat with likes them. I usually get weird looks, and "how can you eat that?" from most of them...My kids faces are priceless when I offer it to them. :)

grasshopper...
I was eating food in the garden,suddenly a grasshopper happened to jump into the dish i was eating and i took a bite of it...bit bitter and salty
