Discovered a Cheap Way to Redecorate

My husband and I just bought a 50 year old home. We spent all our money on painting, and floors and carpeting. We left no extra money for decorating at all. I didn't like the way my photos looked on the color of paint I used on the walls. I am a photographer and wanted to decorate with my own photography. I felt that if I had black frames and matts, my existing photos would look much better. So, I decided to try something. I took the photos out of the frames, used SATIN black spray paint and painted the frames! I also used Satin and on some of them, Gloss black to paint the matts! Yes, even the matts! It was amazing how much it changed the look of the wall, the photos and atmosphere of my home! And, all for less than $3.00!! I'm posting a picture of one of my groups.
