When did your child lose their first tooth?

My first son lost his first baby tooth right shortly after his 5th birthday. My second son has yet to lose his first baby tooth and he'll be 7 in July! Is it normal for him not to have lost his first tooth by now, or should I be concerned?

LOL. My daughter will be 6 in June and many of her friends have lost their first tooth and she constantly asks when she will lose a tooth! But I too think that every child is different and her time will come, as will your son's. Good Luck!

I was six when I lost my first tooth. My oldest will be seven in September and she shows no signs of losing any of those pearlies! But that's right, every child is different. Some lose early and some don't start until way later.

Yes, I would say it's normal. My daughter lost her first baby tooth at 6.
