I know that if you are anything like me, then you sometimes have trouble thinking of topics to write about. I thought that we could all share ideas of topic starters. You don't have to worry about people stealing your ideas because no two writers write a like. I will get us started.
child support
child protective services
educational toys
mid life crisis
summer camps
baby showers
road rage
relaxation techniques
work at home opps
soccer moms
making ends meet on a budget
cancer
research centers
You don't have to write anything about the topic only the topic starter.

These are all excellent ideas. One way I come up with ideas for AC articles is just by responding to discussions on myLot. There is a wealth of material here that gets my mind operating in the AC mode. When I work on myLot, I often keep an empty microsoft document on my desktop and when I write a response the I like and think I might be able to develop into a longer artice, I cut and paste it to the empty document for use later. When I am finished here, I save the document as AC Article Ideas and the date.

Stringbean this is a great idea also. I am going to have to try this out. I have been trying to write a few articles everyday because I don't like there to be too much of a gap between the dates of submission because it takes that much longer to get an offer and get paid. Thanks for the great tip. :)

I have a great resource for everyone; right now, Helium is having a weekly contest, where they suppy the topics. There are general categories like:
career
physical fitness
gardening
video games
baseball topics
Then under the topics, they have actual titles, for example, under career, you would have
a day in the life of an intern
how to be a team player
what to do to avoid being laid off
careers in landscaping
how to get along with your boss
I have found these Helium topics and subtopics to be a wealth of new ideas. Yes, you can enter their contest or not, but no one has a copyright on the ideas, so feel free to borrow. When I first ran across the contest, it made me think of Associated Content, not Helium. Sorry Helium.

I discovered Helium a while back and I enjoy using them for article topics and ideas. I go there when I can't think of anything else to write. I get a lot of my ideas from there. Thank you for adding this on this discussion. I completely forgot about them.

Rosa this is a great idea I know I told you already about Amy Brantley on AC and her articles and you have already read some of them. Well anyway to those who don't know about her and haven't read her article on "How to Make a Living on Associated Content" in this article she has some great resources she shares and this one website she shared has some of the most searched words online. Here is the site:
http://www.nytimes.com/gst/mostsearched.html
If you write articles about some of these topics on this site they pay you a lot more. I have already started one but am having a little trouble with it and figured if I came on here and started writing it would help me because it usually does. Also I have found going on the AC forum helps too because they have a topic on there where they talk about content ideas. I hope this helps. :)

Wow, you guys are awesome for sharing such great ideas. I have been trying to think of more just recently. I tend to focus on the same things as some of you posted. Let's see if I can't come up with at least a couple. How about health insurance issues, belonging to a union, or being a stay at home parent? I will keep thinking !!

Most of the ones that I listed above are ones that I have either written about or ones that I thought about writing about. I love this discussion and I hope that it helps everyone out.
