anybody knows about OSHO RAJNEESH ?

hey i have heard lot of about him , but then not exactly yet i have found anything related to him, still its mistry to me, can anyone solve it, cause there is a city called PUNE in INDIA.ands its just 160 km from my place, where there is OSHO ASHRAM the place people meditate but really dont know what actually it is........ do you know about him ? who was he?

Osho ashram is in pune its about 3-4 kms from mumbai and here you can find a lot of foreign nationals coming to spend their time. They have all types of activities which help in meditation. The campus is huge and beautiful. you can even choose to work there for 2-3 weeks and have to apply for that. more infor can be found on the website and also they have a magazine called OSHO.
