I live in the Sonoran Desert and it's getting really warm now. My baby is 14 months old and he'll wake up and hubby sticks a bottle of milk for him. Little Man will slug it down then go back to sleep.
Now, I want to stop this because when he goes back to sleep, it will stay in there and go bad. It's also bad for his teeth. These last few days, Little Man's been throwing up because of the warm milk. My question is: would now be a good time to wean him from cow's milk? I don't buy milk that has any hormones or nasty stuff.

Some experts say cow's milk doesnt have enough nutrition for a baby beyond a certain age. To start with, it is good as its light on the stomach, good to digest and all that but sooner or later babies must start consuming what they will be in future. 14 months is good time to start your baby with the normal milk that you drink. My baby also used to throw up a lot of milk so i cut down on milk and started giving vegetable soups and some juices. It helped.

Um, i didn't think you were supposed to give children that young, pure cows milk!
You're better off trying to dilute the cow's milk or try something like warm soup!
You don't really need to ween him off of it coz it's full of calcium which is good for his bones - just try & dilute it for the bedtime bottles!

I would agree that by 14months your son should be sleeping through the night. Perhaps coming up with something different to sooth him back to sleep such as a back rub or just snuggling up close.
Diffently don't give him milk in the night it can sour fast and it will sour if he falls asleep with a mouthful. Yuck.
See if maybe he can get a little bigger dinner or some kind of healthy snack before bedtime so he want wake up hungry in the night.
