ok.. i have 2 cats who are..big boys-one is 34 pounds, another 21. they have the habit of sitting on the edge of the box while using the "facilities".on more than one occasion,it rebounded on them and showered the poor thing with the contents...off to the bath you go,kitty. problem solved by weighting litterbox with bricks. my question is-has your cat ever done something so clumsy you couldn't help but laugh, even tho you felt sorry for it?

Oh dearie me! Those poor kitties! I can barely type I am laughing so har, but I am laughing with them, not at them! My cats are boneheads and they are always doing very silly things. SOmetimes they will make an ambitious jump and just...not land it. At all. I try not to let them see because they are obviously embarassed, but it is always funny.

Many years ago I used to have a Manx cat. The upper duplex I rented had an open doorway from the stairs downstairs. So I had a blanket hung there to keep the heat from going downstairs. One day I heard her screaming loudly and thought she was dying. I ran looking for her and didn't see her anywhere. She evidently saw me and got quiet thinking I'd help her. I looked more then called her name. Then she meowed. She had climbed to the top of the blanket (10 ft) and got her claws stuck hanging by one paw. I got her down and she was fine but I laffed everytime I tried to get her to chase a light shone on the blanket & she refused. LOL. Thanks for the discussion. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!

One time my cat was laying on the window sill in the living room. He was sunning himself and laying on his back, belly in the air. He fell sound asleep and it was so cute, that's when he kind of rolled in his sleep and fell off the windowsill. I felt kind of sorry for him but it was funny to see how startled he was.

easily solved. Get a litter pan with a lid attached to it. Then they cant sit on the edge if the entire thing is covered lol. My cat got mad when she fell in the tub today. She can be quite silly. She also tried to get the birds in the birdfeeder outside. Through the glass, it was quite funny :)

Wow, those are big boys. I had a cat that once tried to get at my bird in is cage. The bird nipped his nose. He jumped back in such shock! He looked at me as if I should punish the Cockatiel. After I checked him to make sure his nose was alright, I just laughed really hard. He turned his back on me and decided he was mad at me.
