a website is asking me 2 download java software 2 see its detailed info. .....should i do so , plz tell me 4 wat this software is &is it safe 2 download it 4m net only

The site must be having some java applets and you don't have Java virtual machine, which is required to run this applet. It is safe to download and install java in your system. Go to www.java.com and download java for your OS.
