"end of the world", a new question on that

I have heared that Jesus is using A WORD FOR WORLD which has TWO meanings, (arameic or hebrew, I don't really know) when referring to the end of the world. In that case it is worth a conversation, It is supposed to mean both world in the sense of the planet, earth. And Worldorder, =two very separate concepts. I believe in the latter interpretation, it is practical and doesn't exclude global spiritual oneness This particular WORD Jesus uses CAN mean NOT the complete destruction of the earth, but it can mean that there will in fact be a new earthly and political worldorder, where nationhood is transformed into a global system, where the different nations together form a worldfederation, like members of one family. How about that. Aren't we already moving forward to build it up.

No it not the complete end of the world, just as we know it. When the big war starts Jesus will come back and stop it and reign here on earth for one thousand years. Satan will be bond for those one thousand years and then released to see who he can persuade his way. Then the final Judgement will take place. Then the new Jerusalem will come down and we will live their. This is paraphrasing it. It is the easiest way I can explain it, LOL. Hope this helps.

Thank you friend. I am glad that you believe this globe will not be destroyed. So we are agreeing on this. Fine. I present my views as an onlooker and an outsider here though. From outside the churches interpretations. I can read myself and I have known the warmth of the Eternal Sun which I feel and believe is shining from the teachings of all religions. All have the Golden Role, with almost the same words. You see. I don't want to come near a dispute on religious matters, but I want to know what Americans believe. The presentations on TV here from your country with all the congregational loud praying and preaching is not so encouraging. I want to know about other attitudes .And I take my issues and questions as a starting point.

Actually the term used means "age"-but in a more robust meaning conveys the idea of the age and all which exists in it, hence it was rendered "world". What the term refers to, is the end of an age or period, and the beginning of another age or period. I realize this is an older discussion, but just replying in case someone does have a similar question re. it:)
