Do you cheat in order to get what you want or run away from reality?. Why do people cheat?. I was cheated for the price of food that I ordered during my recent trip to Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant owner, knowing that I'm not a local, cheated me the cost of a tomyam noodle for RM8.00 a packet. It not a posh restaurant or any thing that of a high class restuarant. It merely a coffee shop kind of food joint. When I asked why so expensive, he said that the price. I asked a man who early bought the same thing after I paid and on the way out of the food joint. He said he paid only RM4.00. That pratically 100% extra. As I'm a tourist, I do not want to cost a commotion, I walked away with a bang in the heart. I never forgive the man for cheating me on the price of the tomyam noodle. Have anyone experience this before?. What do you do it such situation?

Cheating makes you feel bad for doing it to someone, and if they realize they've been cheated, they will never trust you again. For instance, you were cheated in that food joint, and it would make me never ever want to buy anything from there again. Also, it would make me want to tell my friends what happened, so the shopkeeper would end up losing a lot of business. If I realized I'd been cheated, I would certainly speak up until I got some satisfaction or my money back. Cheating is a very low, despicable act.

Shouldn't agree less. They cheat, they lose in the long run. As I posted my reply earlier, I will publicize the restaurant to all my contact not to patronise. As the saying goes for most of the restaurant motto "If we are good, tell others. If we are not, tell us". In this case, it will be the reverse for this Ramzan Restaurant at Jalan Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur. No matter how good and nice is the food, I will never eat there any more. I just don't want to make a fuss that day because it was my birthday and I were there to unwind, not to spoilt my reputation on my birthday. LOL. Thanks anyway.

It has happened to me when I was oversea before. Somehow, they know we are not locals. I just looked at the shop owner and said sarcastically, 'May God forgive you for all your sins!' and walked away with my head up.I know it is painful but take heart. What goes around comes around! They will not get rich by cheating people. We may lose some today, but God is fair. You might get something more than what you lose in the future. Cheer up! You are not alone.:
