My latest painting

Bird Watcher - I enjoy painting animals, wild and domestic. This one was really fun to do. It is on dark blue ["midnight"] Canson paper.

Just finished this one. It is pastels on Canson paper and measures 20" x 13" unframed. I will have it framed next week. Double mat with glass in the least expensive metal frame costs me $110! What do you think?

Wow. Nice. Lots of movement. I'm not much good at abstract art. I've done a couple that were assignments in art classes, but it isn't something I do on my own. Good luck to you, too.

I liked it, not particularily the eyes but the nose and face as a whole, I like that even being mostly flat it also has depths, seems like there were various flat layers to different distances (a very subjective impression of course) btw: do you know deviantart? http://www.deviantart.com/
