i am sorry to say this but i will explain myself i do not always feel sorry or bothered when i see homeless people at my country i have a country that does support anybody who is in need..and that means that the country will take care of that that people will b in a shalter and will have enough food..and that means that no one should be on the streets when i talked to a few homeless people that are "living" next to my house they told me that they prefer buying drinks-alchol with the money that the government is giving them and they get very well living at the streets they are already used to that..it may seem strange but this is what was told to me by a few people that are living at the streets..now you might say you feel bad for them because they are alcholoc but the country does offer them a free program and an aid with life after worth but they say they do not want to give up on the drinking they like things as they are..so no i do not bothered much by seein in my country homeless people cause i do know that are choosing it.

That was pretty much what I was saying, good to see somebody agrees with me. These people need help, but they won't take it.

It bothers me on so many different levels. Honestly, as much as I do sympathize with their predicament, I work in downtown Toronto. In Toronto, there is no real excuse to be homeless. In fact, most of them refuse to even go to shelters when there is a cold weather alert in place and they are called in personally by the city. We have strong social programs, strong enough to keep these people off the streets. Not necessarily strong enough to make their life as good as everybody else, but better than what they have. Too often, I see these people rejecting free food, even the offer of being taken out for a meal. They always want cash...

Before I get a bunch of people calling me a heartless bast@rd, I do feel bad for them, and I do wish to help them, and I do that by donating to charities that help them, and supporting very high taxes that pay for social programs that help these people.

I am glad to say that I don't See homeless people very often , but yes my heart goes out to them , sometimes it is something beyond their control that causes them to be like this , It is really a shame especially during the winter months xx

It's always hard to see a homeless person, knowing that they are in need and that they are not alone. I always want to do more to help, whether it's giving an extra handful of change or volunteering at a homeless shelter. I used to do a lot of that in high school and college, but admittedly I haven't had much time lately.

I hate seeing homeless people it makes me wonder what one earth the world is coming to. I will sometimes help them by buying a big issue magazine but I would rather give money to a charity that helps homeless as at least you know they are being given proper help rather than wasting the money.

it does bother me especially when they have a sign that says that they will work for food or they say will work for a place to stay and it's really bad when you have no place to put them in youre house so I try to give them a little bit of money when I have it.

It bothers me alot. These people need so much help. It is not just a lack of home problem. There are homeless peopl ethat have addiction problems, psychiatric problems, economic problems etc etc. I think a society can be measured by how it treats the weakest members. It is a disgrace that so little is done to help the ones that are in deep problems. It is a disgrace that so many of us just walk on by and never give that homeless person we just saw another though again.
