GTO is one of the funniest anime I've seen at the moment, Onizuka is the best anime's teacher. There are a live action serie but I haven't seen it yet, is the live action serie as good as the anime?

Yosh! I have seen the live action series. I haven't watched the whole anime series yet (thanks to my school sched and no cable.. gaaaahhh) but I think it's as good as the anime. Of course we can't help but compare, but we have to understand that doing live action series, they usually have required number of episodes to meet (12-15 episodes I believe) so they have to somewhat change the flow of story. Demo, i think it's still good. What's similar to the anime is that Eikichi Onizuka wants to be a teacher, and so he did became a teacher and change the views of his students. There are less vulgarities here in the live action series as compared to the anime, although Onizuka remains a pervert, still. The comical side of the character is still there. A few of the character's personality was somehow changed (just a little) and a few facts about the characters. For example, Onizuka in the anime is 22? Or was it 23? Anyway, in the live action, I believe he was already 26. Murai-kun's mother in the live action got pregnant at 17 (as far as I can recall) and not 13 like in the anime, and some things else. Although there are quite changes in the live action, I believe you'll be able to appreciate it still. Oh, when you watch, please don't be bothered with what they wear- their fashion sense that is, because this live action drama was aired in the late 1990's (1999 I think). I hope you'd be able to watch the live action and enjoy it as well, like the anime!!^_^
