a folder named CON cant be created. why?

recently a new discovery has been made, that is a new folder named CON or con cannot be created throughout the world in an of the computers. no one knows the reason about this happening. even BILL GATES and the whole microsoft company team cannot answer this question. if anyone experiences this problem, please respond soon. lets make a guess that why is it so and see if someone finds the remedy... please respond if u experience it...

Well I just created a file named CON in my email which is in an of the computer.
Must be what mvsrao said.

CON is a reserved word and it cannot be
used as a folder name . And there are some
more reserved words given in IO.SYS file
of the windows operating system .
Bill Gates and other Microsoft people know
well about this .
