What are your pet peaves? I hate when the toilet seat is left up.

I have so many! Most of mine are some things already mentioned like when you work your butt off all day at home and in a few hours it looks the same as it did before you even cleaned it or worse because someone can't pick up after themselves. Also like you mentioned, the toilet seat. I have taught my little boy who's 4 now to always put the toilet seat down and he will even put the toilet lid down sometimes before he flushes because he sees me do it. I've always told him it's just not polite for his sisters to have to accidentally sit on the part where he just went pee pee. So, I've got him trained, now gotta work on the big boy, his daddy! Not really, but wish! :)

I am one that also loathes that toilet seat beling left in the upward position. It is a constant battle in our house to keep it down. I have 3 pointers in the house and it isn't fun! Another that I get hot and bothered over is the phone cords being tangled. I have to untangle them before I use them.

I dont mind about the toilet seat thing, I hate when I clean the house and then someone just throws something on the floor, or on the counter, and then I am left to pick up after everyone. That bothers me!

i am so glad that he doesnt do that toilet seat thing. whew! BUT he does other little things that drive me nuts. he will sit here and make sure to shut down our crappy computer (which takes about 3 minutes to watch to make sure it shuts completely off), BUT he will not take the 10 seconds it takes to shut off the tv, or shut off the lights when he leaves the house. he openes the cabinets to find something to snack on, or to get a glass, and ALWAYS leaves the doors wide open. this makes me craaaaazy!! what i purposely do, when i have had enough, is i open ALL of the cabinet doors and leave them open for him. i also open all of his dresser drawers and leave them open for him to bump into. LOL. he gets the hint and starts to close things behind him. unfortunitly, this only lasts for about 2 days and then hes back to leaving everything open again.
