Well all it seems myLot has decided that I had posted a discussion with a joke in it that was innapropiate to them &/or their guidelines. I guess in the LONG RUN it may have been considered censorable. But at this point this is beyond the reason for this discussion. It seems when a discussion gets deleted the poster as well as all responders lose points and/or earnings from said discussion. I wish to apologize to those whom responded to this discussion of mine that got deleted. You've all lost points and it's my fault. I will not in the future be posting any jokes as it seems even the mild ones can be considered deleatble by the admins guidelines. So please forgive me all for the loss of your points and earnings due to my error in posting those jokes. It also seems that my page has not been visited nor any discussions responded to for awhile now also. I have no idea if this is a mylot punishment or a glitch. I say the first part due to the fact that for the last 30 minutes I've been trying to do things here on mylot and kept getting the log in page as I posted or responded even PM anyone. Thanks in advance all for future responses. I am tired of this mylot thin guideline of censorship as of late. I apologize once again to all members that have responded to my discussion titled, Headlines & Ads". Thanks again.

dont worry about it
i see your getting to start dicussions,im still not,i can even contact mylot about it,i can answer posts thruogh my emails but thats all i can do

Don't worry about it? After seeing these posts today from some on my friends list about them losing points? It's part in fault of me. Anyhow thanks for the response. Uggg!

You know what My friend. I learned really early on mylot about jokes being a touchy subject here. It is one of those categories that you have to be careful with. It may not have been the joke at all, I find that when something has a joke in it people will copy and paste nothing but jokes as a response and this may have been the problem. I stay away from tagging any thing with joke, because I have had this happen. It may be that they just thought of the whole discussion as spamming. I would not worry because I find all of your discussions to be of great quality.

Why thank you very much. This topic of discussions getting deleted is getting to be a huge issue here with many memmebrs including myself. It's getting to where I don't feel real comfortable here starting discussions and responding to many. It's hurtful to a point. Anyhow thanks once again for the sweet compliment.

oh Grandpa Bob, try to not post discussions against rules...it's forbidden!! :) Maybe it was not so bad that discussion, anyway I didn't write there anything.
Instead yesterday it happened to mee also that writing on mylot was impossible because it always asked me to login again and again!
Maybe you didn't received visits to your profile because many users were cut down =).
Don't worry for what you did...your rating is perfect (10) ;-P, so keep posting and enjoy!

Your entry here gives me an answer to my question in mind. A while ago, I found my points drop from its original 601 to 600. I was wondering why such thing happen. Now I know some of the discussions I responded to got deleted which influenced my points too. But this is unfair, I lost points because of someone else mistakes. This is not reasonable.

poor grandpa bob! Join the crowd with the discussions being deleted they really made me mad yesterday with deleting 2 of mine, when it seems everyone else could make that discussions except me.

Just takes that one fateful word to get it deleted it seems. Mine was a list of REAL headlines in papers. Oh well I say. It's done and gone so on I move. Hee hee. Thanks for the response also.

You are just so mannerly. We all don't know what is proper and what is not. Maybe some hot themes which can attract more responses are considered innappropriate as well as some mild jokes. You just don't need to worry about it too much. It is just a small episode. We can't do everything perfectly.

please do not worry about it , I am sure if I or anyone else replied and lost a point that they wouldn't get upset about it , these thing happen . I wrote a discussion a while ago and I had made a mes of it and asked it to be deleted it was and probably someone lost out on it too , I felt as you do but no one said they were upset , you have good friends here dont worry xxx

The reason for this discusiion is that a few friends on my list have started discussions complaining about mylot taking points away. So I know it was partly due to my discussion. Therefore the discussion here. I feel really bad for these friends losing points because of me. Now it's to the point where I hate posting anything expcet my own experiences or simple questions. Almost to the point of 1 liners. Ugghhh. Anyhow thanks for the response. As always it's greatly appreciated.

I have observed that certain people start lot of discussions falling in the category of violations. Off course these sort of discussions are deleted as well and people lose the points! You are worried about your goodwill and your prestige. I do agree that people love you so much and I do. Mistakes are committed by the human and thats why we are human! You have taken a bold step to say "Sorry". I really appreciate your comments about yourself being so brave.Don't worry we are here to share. God bless you and keep your rich comments posted like before. I really admire your postings.

WOW!!! More great kind words. I admire you also a lot. I have been raised by family, friends, and others to respect all people and to admit wrong when it's realized. So hence this apology here. Thanks very much again for your responses. Yours are truel great & appreciated as of late.

I think there was some kind of problem with the site about the time you started this discussion. I've read a couple of other posts talking about some glitches and difficulties. Things seem to be okay now and I hope that you get this post ok.

Hey Grandpa Bob - I'm sure any friends would not worry about losing a point or anything like that - if they do get upset about it then they are not the type of friends who care! We all know you didn't set out to do anything wrong so just put it out of your mind and have some fun! Take Care x

I guess one of the lines I had in that discussion was considered a bit too much for mylot even though I had seen worse. Oh well I say. I'm going to be very careful posting things now. Thanks for the response also. It's appreciated a lot.

It is not only you, Grandpa Bob. More than a few discussions have been deleted today for reasons only admins and ghosts know. When a discussion is deleted, no reason is given - how is any one here supposed to know what we did wrong so that the mistake won't be repeated?
My rating has dropped and it is the same for quite a few other active friends. I suspect that this is a myLot conspiracy. J/K HAHAHAHA! :P

I was on a little while ago and saw a brief message saying mylot would be down temporarily for maintenance or something like that. I never saw that message again but couldn't access any discussions.
I don't keep track of my points I just try to post as much as I can and hope someday I'll have a nice little surprise in my bank account.
Let me go look for some of your posts. :)
