I had an African Grey who died recently. He would talk to the cat, whistle and call the dog (who was very confused), and yell "MAMA!" in our son's voice, sometimes in the middle of the night. What are some funny things your birds have said or done?

Unfortunately, I don't have a bird. I love birds so I hope to get one someday. My aunt has a parrot who yells, "Phillip!". He sounds just like my aunt yelling for my uncle. He also yells for my cousin Clint in my aunts voice.

My Senegal parrot doesn't say much but some of the things he says I don't know where he picked up. He shouts "Whee!" the most often. Somehow he managed to learn the call of a red-tailed hawk. I have no idea how he learned that one unless he happened to hear it as a sound effect on the TV a lot. He also says "Davi", his name, sometimes. He will also mimick a squeaky chair in the kitchen and the microwave beeping.

My cockatiel Peepers says the funniest things. He makes fun of my wife and I when we kiss. He'll make little kissy noises. He also loves to take showers. When he's done he'll run around saying "Peepers is a wet Peeper" and "He's a wet Peepers". If he sees me going in to the kitchen at night he'll just say "Peep!"
