Do they have underground city with good facilities (e.g. shops, food, water, telecommunications, internet access etc.) in the desert ? If so, then it would be more attractive to live there.

well we do not have an underground city but we do have all of the facilities you mentioned there: shops, food, water, internet and much more and it is considered as one of the most beautiful and attractive cities in israel:)

Seems attractive as what you said. If you can post some pictures for us to see, I am sure many members may be convinced to visit if not live there.

I was born and raised here in the Philippines, and got used to the weather here...well, though I don't really like exposing myself on hot and sunny days, I believe I still do have an average tolerance for it... coz during summer here temperature rises even up to above 30 to 35 degrees Celsius or 86-95 degrees Fahrenheit...:P but living in the dessert for years? ummmm am not so sure about it.... lol maybe I can stay there for a couple of days..but am afraid I can't really survive living there for a couple of years or even months... :P

I have no idea how the life would be in a desert. How convenient and conducive it would be to stay in desert. I have seen desert only in movies. I have not seen the real deserts. It appears to me it will not be an easy task to live in a desert, because the facilities over there may not like a normal city. In a desert weather conditions could become adverse and disruptive and unpleasent. I see less benefits in staying in a desert in comparison to other places, so I would not like to stay in a desert.

I loooove the desert! I was a tour guide in the Nature Protection Company (this is the only thing that sounds better in hebrew I think) and I mainly guided trips in the desert. I believe one day I'll build a home in the desert - in 5 to 6 years. Right now I am getting married, and I study in a university that is quite far from the desert, so I will have to finish my Phd before going there... Do you live in the desert?

Oh yea.. it's "cool" right? You can get a nice tan.. NOT! No one would willingly live in the desert - unless you were brought up in the harsh environment and grew up to love it. The condition is just too much for the average human.
