Octogenarian gets 10 years for smuggling cocaine This guy is 82 years old. =)

TUCSON, Ariz. - An 82-year-old man who was caught trying to smuggle 170 pounds of cocaine into the country from Mexico has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison, the U.S. Attorney's office announced Tuesday. You go grandpa.

I just heard that on the news. I am astounded. He'll be 92 when he gets out, if he serves the entire sentence.

I always wondered how they got so much across. Maybe they need to tighten up security on the senior citizens. Full cavity search. =S

What a cool grandpa..LOL He will never make it 10 years..Maybe he found out this is the only way to get care in this world for older people you think????You know the system we have people are better off in jail than they are on the outside...maybe that was his chance to get the medical help.free food, and entertainment haahaaha...

LOL. It is sad but true. He will get better health care in jail. They eat more in jail than I do. I don't normally eat 3 meals. If someone cooked it for me and cleaned up the mess I sure as heck would eat 3 meals too.
