I like to watch CSI and other shows like it, but sometimes I think they shouldn't show so much info. I mean does anyone else worry that they may be making murderers more smart, or give people ideas. Same goes for those terrorist movies and stuff. How do we know some psychos mot watching the movie thinking Im gonna try that and know how to not get caught. Scares me sometimes

There is a book about this exact subject, but the title escapes me. The CSI stuff is all the de-classified ways of figuring out criminals. These are all past cases and if murderers are learning from these shows, they are learning ways that CSI has already figured out their criminals. The shows creators work extensively with a lot of forensic specialists to ensure they don't do anything that would significantly help murderers. In fact, the show is trying to prevent this by showing that the bad guy gets caught by extremely beautiful people.

I sometimes wonder the some thing and then I realize that there are monsters in this world who need no help in their evil thoughts. They are far worse than anything that would be allowed on TV. What I hear is the problem with shows like CSI is that they are affecting juries. People that are guilty as sin are getting away with their crimes because juries expect there to be DNA evidence and forensics in everything. Even if there are credible eye witnesses the juries are discounting them because there are no fingerprints. Scary how impressionable the human mind is eh?
