Scarlet Crusade

I've been playing World of Warcraft for quite a while now, and I've noticed something very odd about the Scarlet Crusade. If you've ever taken a moment and read through the few quests you have to do FOR the Scarlet Crusade (which, these quests start in Desolace) you'll know that they are all about getting rid of the Scourge, or the plague. They want to kill off as many that are 'tainted' by the Scourge and attempt to enlist you into killing some of these 'tainted' people for them. Yeah sure, if you do the quest in Desolace, you'll get a good amount of experience, but you'll have to kill about 20 or so skeletons. Not to mention that it is rather hard to get back to these Skeletons as you have to go through a few Centaur camps. Nevertheless, once you finish the quest, the giver asks you to go find someone in South Shore, and tell them that you want to aide the Scarlet Crusade. The funny thing about this is, once you go to South Shore, the guy in SS tells you to go kill the main NPCS in Scarlet Monestary. If you have EVER noticed though when you go through the Cathedral, there is an NPC that is optional to kill (you have to find the wall and remove the wall to get to him) is an Undead!!! WTF? Aren't they all about KILLING undeads? What's even more odd is the fact that the guy in CHARGE of the Scarlet Crusade is the brother of the ruler of Undercity! YES, he is an undead!!!! This is insanely weird, just because their whole thing is killing undead because they are tainted with the scourge. I for one, found this to be very interesting. Any thoughts?

Pretty simple to figure out if you would read the quest. The guy who tells you to kill the bosses in the Scarlet Monastery says that the zeal of the Scarlet Crusade has corrupted them. You would be angry at the scourge too if they took your brother away from you. And lastly, the guy in the hidden room, I assume, is a dirty secret - a Scarlet Crusade member who was accidentally turned into a scourge, that they've kept locked away. Maybe they experimented on him? Maybe he was still able to function but they kept him hidden?
