Just heard on the news today about this lady who parked her vehicle.
She her 2 year old child in the vehicle. She left him behind to run into her office for a minute When she got back the child had been playing with the power windows. The child is now dead.
Not a nice story I know and I feel sorry for her (the mom) but ................
What the heck is she thinking leaving a child in the vehicle.
She wants to sue the manufacturer
Do you think she is right or is she guilty of negelect.
My thoughts she is guilty of neglect. Has nothing to do with the manufacturer at all. She should have taken the child with her!

Gosh! What kind of mother would leave alone a two-year old child in a vehicle?? I guess that mother doesn't use her full sense! She's out of her mind!
And she has the nerve to sue the manufacturer? She can't win the case. It's her own fault, her negligence. I guess we should learn from her mistake.

I have to agree I can remember hauling all 3 of my boys with no matter where I went
Never ever did I leave them in a vehicle for a minute
I will have to keep on eye on the outcome to see how it goes
I'll bet she gets something from them They usually do
Thanks commenting

OMG! I used to work for a personal injury attorney. We would never take that case. Not a prayer. That was neglect! she should not have left her two year old in the car! My two year old is into everything and I do not trust him at all by himself for even a few second! What the heck was she thinking???

This is a clear example of how crazy the world is becomming. This woman left her two year old in the car (which is illegal), something bad happened, and now she wants to not only blame someone else-but be paid for HER mistake. What the heck is going on?

Aaaaaaagh... I hate these stories. Mainly on the stupidity of the parents who can't take blame for themselves, and decide to sue/blame someone else. She shouldn't be suing, she should be getting psychiatric help for the guilt she should be feeling for leaving her child in danger, if it wasn't the window, it could have been a kidnapper, or drunk driver wiping out the vehical. You just never know.
I live in a small town and still won't leave my children alone in the rig for any reason. I hit the drive-up windows where ever I can, Bank, post office, ect. But if I have to stop and get out, they get out too.
