What do you like to talk about?

I've only been here four days now I think, and have started a handful of discussions; one has a bunch of replies, most have a few replies, and some have no replies. The thing that really gets me is what people respond to. The discussions that I thought a lot of people should reply to, only one or two did, and the ones that I didn't think would get any replies are getting a lot more replies. So I'm posing a question for all myLotters... What discussions do you like to respond to? Do you like deep meaning ones? Political or social statement ones? Family? Less thought provoking ones? Let me know. What do you like to voice about?

It is hard to say what discussions I will answer on any given day. It really depends on the mood I'm in. Sometimes I want to type and sometimes I want to give short fun answers. There are some of my friends that post intelligent or interesting queries that I feel really deserve answers, and often I've never heard of the poster. As for what I post myself - there isn't much. I only post things that I want answers to or that I think are interesting. I also don't want to copy someone else's questions. If people are in the mood to answer that is wonderful - I read them all. If they aren't then I'll find my answers elsewhere.

I was replying about mood just as you were. I guess we were both in the mood to answer this one. :-)

I don't really have to be in a mood to write long answers. I love to write and would do it 24/7 if I could get paid for it. LOL. But I do alwasy try to answer more meaningful discussions that I feel really deserve answers.

I know, I post discussions I think and hope will get a lot of reponses, because I want the discussion and only a few respond, but the ones I just post that arent a huge deal to me get a lot. I would rather have a meaningful discussion, than ones that produce no thoughts.

I'm happy to get people to voice an opinion about anything, even the less thought-provoking discussions I start, but I agree. I would totally rather discuss, or hear people's opinons, on a more meaningful topic.

I like to start discussions and read discussions on personal experences. Not about how to make money. I skip ALL of them

All the how to make moeny topics are pointless. You will still have to go out and work, so why even worry about. Find me the stay at home job I can make a living off of, and I'll show you a scam.

Actually, replies depend on the interest that most people like. In my observation, when I started a sicussion about people, their daily probelms, their feelings, their attitudes, characters, family, once you touched on that, expect many replies. Lesser on things, politics, government. That is only me observation.

But what does that say about our society when people just don't want to talk about the world around them?

Well, you know for me it is usually the deeper ones. Of course earlier this AM I found myself replying to how often I change my MySpace layout. For me its all about mood I guess. I guess you have to catch everyone in the right mood Tweak. Good luck. LOL!

Yeah, well, you know me, and the more people that read anything I write the better; no matter how mundane or boring it is. LOL.
