When is a therapist wrong?

I am demanding that my son's therapist be changed. He is diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and is in a RTF. She is being manipulated by him, and he lied and caused a derrogatory report to be filed against his previous foster parent. Shouldn't I have the final say on what goes on here? How will he ever be rehabilitated if he is continuously allowed to do this, and hurt others in the process?
