I am sitting here on my computer listing to my music, the coffee pot is just done making my coffee, I have to go and change the laundry over from the washer to the dryer, and in a short time I may wander over to the mall to meet my daughter. And I just realized how very fortunate I am to live in this time . The chances are that 200 years ago I wouldn't even been alive but my ancestors did make it to their 80-90 so perhaps, I might have, I can imagine what it would be like to have none of the amenities and financial security in place, that I enjoy now. I guess that is where large family's and living together as a family was the most practical and safe. . I would love to hear your thoughts, on what would you be doing if it were 1807. and you just got up.

probably add wood to the fireplace and boil a pot of water, for a tea. or be sitting by candle light writing with a quill pen.

Well I would probably be in bed getting my rest so I could get up early to do the chores and cooking.
