A guy came to the door the other day said he wasnt selling me anything he was doing a survey. I let him in with his laptop and went through a survey with him. He then said would i be interested in completing a survey again in the future? so ithought why not, i have done it before and get some freebies. so then he says in the next week or so you wil lbe sent a questionaire with a £5 note attached to it so ithought oooh thats nice! The survey turned up today and rightly enough, there was a £5 note in an envilope inside the bigger envilope. Anyway i pulled the survey out its more like a script for a film or something lol! (see picture for how many pages). Would you fill this survey in thats this long? Its loads of boxes you have to put a cross in them so its not really hard.

If you got the time, then why not, £5 is still £5 and I would certainly do it, it all helps. I do surveys online too, but because I am from the UK I am not eligible for a lot of them, but I do Yougov because you are guaranteed to get paid whether you are eligible or not, some sites are a waste of time because they give you points or tickets to prizes. Others you get 75% into them only to be told sorry you are not eligible and that's it, all your hard effort and time wasted. Even if it takes you an hour to complete it's still in theory cash in hand, not bad at all!

a lot of survey sites as you say are a waste of time, im a member of ciao.co.uk they often send out surveys usually between 50p and £4. ive been paid several times off them, ive been with them 18 months i get on average £20 a month which isnt bad for a few mins of your time every day or every few days.

hahaha, funny :P But isn't a risk to let a stranger in your house?

well, anyone who thinks letting a stranger into your house is safe is wrong. i checked his id and i checked out the company too and i never left him alone, he was genuine but i can understand peoples concern.

Did they ask you to have it back to them in a certain amount of time? If not try doing a little each day so as not to get tired or spending all your time marking boxes. You have already been paid and they may pay you again if you do this one and return it in a timely manner. Could be a good way to make a few extra (dollars)pounds. Best of luck Kowgirl

Sure why not! It's pretty much free money if all it is is putting an x in a box! Even if it is a lot of pages you don't have to do it all in one sitting, you could just do it whenever you have a free moment or two. And who knows, maybe they'll send you more in the future with more money!

If the fiver is real I would do it if I had the time they might send you more in the future. If it is a marketing company you will probably be now on their list so if you continue they might send you higher paid surveys as you become more established, also they might invite you to focus groups and these can be realy good earners. I went to one once it lasted 45 minutes then they gave you a buffet and drinks afterwards and an envelope. The envelope contained 2 fifty pound notes. They never seem to tell you the amount before they pay you, not sure if it is because they want you to do it out of interest rather than just for the money.

i am actually promoting a survey program myself on my site www.earningyourearning.com my other half does the surveys and fills in the forms as i concerntrate on running the site and my other site www.expertprofit.com . anyway she's had a few asking her to goto a specific shop as a mystery shopper and buy something then take it back for a refund then fill in a survey about it. you have to prove you did it with reciepts etc and then they pay you. she has had 2 of them paid one at £50 another at £65. she has been offered others but the shops mentioned are too far away, sometimes they want you to goto a specific shop in a specific area but someo f them will even cover your travel costs too.
