Will you hate me because I was not responding/commenting on a discussion???

I was not been around for 3 days and 250 email notification pop-up with my email notifying of some of my credible friends started a discussion.
I really tried my best to respond to new discussion and apologize for not responding to some of thier discussion lately,(*My sincere sorry to all my dear friends If you can't hear my thoughts on your recent discussions.*)
I really think some myLot members are been busy too with personal things like work and studies like I do. Law course makes me really crazy lately lol!!!I've seen discussion lately that deals with boycotting a member who doesn't comment on the discussion they started and I admit I was the one guilty with it simply because I prefer to respond first to my friends discussion and then allocate a time to comment of my discussion afterwards and beside I do really understand that in myLot rules it is not violation if you was not able to comment on your discussion.
Some myLot members have thier own reason for being busy and I do hope some mylot members will not judge them because they are not that active because myLot is a open forum for all and there is no use of hating a member because they are not able to attend on thier own discussions. We have all our reasons so be it...What matter's is that no matter how late you are to respond to a friends discussion every word you respond is credible and do make sense regardless how late you are.

i hope people are not doing that cuz i haven't had much time here either. my son is on spring brake and it has been so nice out so the kids want to be outside. i can not keep my kids inside when its 80 some outside. i haven't been doing a law course or anything like that but i have a very nice driveway that we colored with side walk colors.lol i have played baseball and done more running around than i have in the past couple years. to me that is important it makes my kids so happy and we have fun. so really if they do get upset with me then so be it my kids come first. i really don't think most of us here on mylot are that way though. i think there is alot of very nice people here so i don't think you need to worry. as long as you pop in once in awhile just to let us know how your doing i would be happy.

Thanks my friend I really think sometimes we are so busy with other chores that when we are not seen or heard on myLot once in awhile our friends should not boycott us or be angry with us because we was not able to respond to them.

I have no problem if people don't respond to my discussions. I know that we all get busy and sometimes the discussions just aren't something we know anything about so can't answer.
Don't stress about it.

LOL - no problem here, until this afternoon I hadn't posted any discussions for a few days. I too have had a problem keeping up with my friends but am trying my best right now. Gave up on the e-mails and just picking at random off my "discussions my friends started".

I can't be upset with you for responding late because I already read in one of your previous discussions that you were busy preparing your Law exams.So, I knew you would respond when you get time.
Oh I didn't know that!lol That means if I don't comment on the responses I get to my discussions ,I 'd end up being ostrasized ?lol I think I am safe because I try to comment on as many as I can ( I think) lol.
Don't worry ,Maribel.I am sure your friends do understand and they won't boycott you just yet!lol.Good luck with your exam.:)

I will not be upset with you for responding late because I already read in one of your previous discussions that you were busy , I knew you would respond when you get time,don't worry,Maribel.I am sure that your friends do understand and they will not boycott you just yet,cause we are not fulltime in mylot we need to do job or work what has become our resposibility.

Are you sure it was you they were talking about. I never saw or heard this discussion. You know that I will never boycott you. Your law studies and work are more important than mylot. This is not a job it something to do in your spare time and it should be fun.

Yes, I know it is alright I know that you were very busy over the last couple of days and you did respond to one of mine already and apologised to me, which I accept. Yes it is not voilating the rules but also you will not be paid unless you respond to one of your own discussions that is what I have been told. Yes you are right thank you my friend.

Of course not! Why would i hate you? Its understandable that our life is not mylot and we have other things that we should prioritized for. We shouldnt burden or pressure ourselves in mylot that we should be here 24/7 just because it's a "duty" to all our other friends to answer every new discussions they made. Besides, as friends, we should understand. :)

I have no reason to be angry with you. heck, at the end of the day we need to remember that we do have "real lives" to lead too, and that they do come before posting on Mylot.
You do what you have to do and don't worry about what others thing. Mylot is not the be all and end all and I for one would not kick up a fuss or delete you from my friends list just because you didn't respond.
Life is life, we gotta live it, one day at a time.

When yo get more and more friends, it is normal that youc annot reply all, and like me , i have a normal day job, i can only allocate few hours everyday to answer the replies,it actually takes a lot of time to finish, in fact ,you can only reply to some due to limitation of time. As long as someone is in my friendlist, I will be happy he/she replies me some time later..

Actually i do understand why some people really dont have time to focus here in mylot coz we have our own job and we also have lots of things to do after our work, and so i cant get online more often like staying here in mylot even for about 1hour or more.
People here should understand that we have lots of things to do also not everyday is mylot day!

no i could not hate anyone just because they didnt respond to my discussion.an i know what discussion you are talking about i seen it also.most of mylot members have jobs an a outside life beside mylot.an you dont need to apologise to anyone.just do what you can do an dont worry what other will think.

Sometimes we should be more keen on the possibility of many instances why a member was not able to respond to a discussion or comment on her own discussion.

there seems to be no trouble with you and your friends here in mylot maribel... i think its another group or set of discussants. maybe, their friends who are active seems to take for granted their friends' topics and so they are now planning to boycot their topics. you are not one of them becuz no matter how busy you are, you still have time to respond to discussions posted by your friends. relax my friend, you are among trusted friends...top of the morning to you maribel, hope you finish law with flying colors :-)

I really knew I have friend's here who are intellectual and very understanding and you are one of them.
It is that no matter how busy a member or does a member don't respond it is not fair to boycot her/him for this is a open forum and we are given the freewill to who we should post our respond.

I fail to understand why did you use the word 'hate'. You are such a wonderful and kind friend that the word 'hate' cannot come into my mind, atleast for you. It is quite understood that you would have remained busy, that is why you could not put in your thougthts on the discussions posted by your friends. I take your word that first you reply to your friends' discussions and then do the rest of the job. A sweet friend like you will be always be taken care of by me atleast, even if you remain busy and do not instantly reply to my discussion. Best of Luck for your mission.

Don't stress, one of my friends said to me, Annie the discussions are going nowhere you answer them in your own time. I am still of your new friends, but I know when some of my friends don't respond, it is because they are busy or away, and I trust them because in the past they have shown me their loyalty. No one will hate you. If you do receive some hate mail, just treat the sender as immature and childish. Cheers Maribel. I think you are very right on the points that Mylot is an open forum.
