I am so frustrated. My husband decided to clean my computer desk and he moved everything. I mean everything. I am not a neat person, so I had lip balm, discs, memory stick, pens, etc. on my desk. And he moved it all. Now, I can´t find my lip balm or a couple of my disks and he has the nerve to claim he didn´t touch anything!!!!! How can this be, when I saw him with my own eyes moving things around and my desk was covered before and now there is literally nothing on it! Does anyone else have this problem? How should I deal with it?
He does this all the time, no matter how often I tell him to leave things alone and not to clean up, because he never remembers touching a thing and he always claims that he didn´t do anything, even if I saw him cleaning! ARRRGH!

Thats the thing with most men honey - they forget things and won't admit it!!!! At least he tidies up - my other half spends ages tidying up only for little piles of stuff to be found in the back of cupboards under beds anywhere that means it looks like he's done something and funnily enough when something gets lost he has never even touched it!

i think that's really men are. they don't mined what they throw out. maybe they got suffocated with those scattered things and think this is a mess so clean it up. this reminds us to keep or put things in order specially our personal gadgets. be organized

My husband always claims he didn't move things as well. I'll be looking for the sugar or something and he'll say he hasn't seen it. I'm like 'well, you made coffee this morning, didn't you... you obviously used it last, where is it? Think, think!' He'll insist he didn't put it anywhere and then I'll find it in the silverware drawer or something! I think he is just not very observant and does things on autopilot without paying attention a lot of times. I came downstairs just now to get online because he went to sleep and I'm not tired yet. We had been upstairs for a good forty-five minutes before he crashed. So, I'm online.... hanging out... I get a craving for a raspberry popsicle and go to the fridge and, lo and behold, he had left the tap running full blast! For OVER an hour! I can honestly say I've never done that in my entire life, but for him, it's normal. I'm always having to find his keys, wallet, shoes... everything. I think he knows better at this point than to touch my things.. I remember where I put everything, so it's just as well :-)

Surprise, surprise. :P
Usually the wife is the neat one at home who cleans up after the husband. So now it is your husband cleaning up for you? :P
He is not losing his memory right? If you are really that concerned, bar him from coming close to your computer desk.

Yes, well, as mentioned in my post, I am not a very neat person, especially on my desk. I have to admit that it is not entirely my fault . . . my son brings me things constantly and I am always having to take little chokables away from him and they end up sitting on my desk until I take the time to put everything away (not often enough). However, my husband is a neat freak, but not in a good way, just in the shove-it-out-of-sight-and-no-one-will-notice kind of way!
