Help Is On The Way! Clinton Sponsoring An Autism Bill!

Hi! This is so exciting! Did anyone see Larry King Live tonight? They did a show about Autism. Bill Cosby, Toni Braxton, and others are giving a benefit concert in NYC next month to benefit Autismspeaks.org! But that's not all, during the show, one of the founds of Autismspeaks.org said that Hillary Clinton is sponsoring a 350 MIl (I think) Bill for Austim research! Yayyyyy! Things are happening, everyone! Wooohoooooo! :-)

That's brilliant, usually when things start in America they spread to England! Lets hope there's a lot of coverage and awareness is raised a lot!

I'm in agreement with Rainbow! My son has Autism and I live in Canada. I hope this makes a difference worldwide for families and I am thrilled that something is being done!

It is about time!! I hope it goes through. This is really getting out of hand. There is way too many kids with this disease.

Yes, it is about time! The stats they were showing were 1 in 150 kids and 1 in 94 boys will have autism! That's crazy! They were also referring to is as an epidemic. I guess that must be what's happening. I hope Hillary gets some good backing for the bill! :-)

I also saw the program, and I think it's great Hillary Clinton is supporting this bill. I think it is about time more is being done. Even if it is just getting the awareness out.

Yes, unfortunately sometimes we have to wait until the issue hits home for a celebrity or someone else with the power to get the ball rolling! :-)
