Mr. Shooli and Congressman Manhik Manaog is back, and they have a great movie about philippine politics aimed for the up and coming elections here in our country. It's titled, "Ang M.O.N.A.Y. ni Mr. Shooli." MONAY stands for, (Misteyks Opda Neysions Adres Yata). Have you seen it already? How do you find this film?

i haven't seen it, and I haven't seen the trailer, I just saw it's billboard somewhere in EDSA, yes, it seems that mr. shooli (jun urbano) and leo martinez (am I right?) are up with their old antics again, specially since elections are this coming may. Of course the movie will be full of political undertones, and I believe that the movie aims to awaken the filipinos into doing what is right and not voting for traditional politicians or popular candidates.

Remember about the Filipino joke that asks you how do you know when you are already in the Philippines? It is one old joke used in the trailer. I think it was Tirso Cruz III who tells Mr. Shooli is already in the Philippines because he already lost his wristwatch (implying that Filipinos are too ingenious in stealing). I guess the movie will be full of slapstick and old style of comedy but people will see it just the same for the funny way they present situations with political undertones especially now that Philippine election is near. Besides Mr. Shooli himself (Jun Urbano) and Congressman Manhik Manaog (Leo Martinez) are good in this aspect considering that this two comedy actors are respected in their own field as well as smart enough to have their own views in politics.

Yeah, I've seen that trailer. It is funny, and I was hurt when I realize what it means, but it's true at the same time. Both of them are well-respected actors and comedians. Plus, they try to address the people in a good, informative way!;)

Well it's already out on movie houses since yesterday, and I'm planning to see the movie this weekend. I bet that the movie is hilarious, and I think that most of it's contents about politics are true at the same time. It is indeed interesting and very thought-provoking!;)
