I am partly handicapped, walking is difficult for me even with my cane, so I don't go shopping. But I do like to shop online. I have bought and sold on ebay. I like to buy books from amazon.com or half.com which is a place to get good bargains on used books. I also just found out you can buy avon online at http://avonfun.com without having to have the avon lady bring it to you. You can order and they will mail it directly to you! Is that cool or what? An avon lady will get the credit, but having it mailed directly to your house with just a very small postage fee is very neat! No hassles or phone calls if you don't want to place an order! Don't you just love the internet? LOL

Avon is so much fun, and they have expanded so much since when I was a kid! On that avonfun.com website, there is a seach box that brings up pictures, and there are also the books to flip through. By the way, it isn't the main Avon website. It's an Avon rep's personal website, so you aren't just arbitrarily throwing your order out to the corporate site for someone to grab. You're actually helping someone with theer business. So you've placed an order with this site, Esther? Do you like the new Jasmine body spray??

This is a new Avon lady's site...I've only ordered twice now. I just ordered the new Jasmine body spray to try and should be getting it next week.

I'm addicted to buying online, specially when I wait till the sites I shop at have free shipping. :-D I use the bill-me-later feature and shop at the sites that accept it. Don't have to enter any credit card info or anything. Easier for me than trying to find a parking spot at a store near me and fighting the crowds.

I love shopping online. No need to go stand in those long lines at the checkout or have to listen to all the rude people out hter. Not to mention all the gas you save by not driving. I shop online all the time. Infact, I just ordered my grandchildren's birthday present today online.

I really like buying online. It is so nice to put in my order and then just forget about it until it arrives at my door. I'll admit that I have been disappointed a couple of times but I am more careful now to check colors and sizes before I order.

I once purchased some makeup stuff through online, esther. Although, my brother kept telling me to be extra careful in giving out credit card no. The one thing I like about buying online is the convenience itself. :)

Years ago, when I first started buying online, I worried about my credit card #. But nowadays, I think most sites are pretty careful to protect their customers. I buy from Lane Bryant a lot online also.

Bless you, it's hard to shop easily with disablities, my son has special needs so I avoid shopping too if possible. I buy from e-bay and amaon, but I have 2 avonladies, lol. One is my friend who lives next door to my day - our kids go to playschool together too, and the other is a girl down my lane who has a new baby, so I have had 2 for about 6 months now cos I'm a softy and as I used to be an avon lady for about 8 years until my oldest was tiny and it was cold for him, I know how it feels to traipse round with a bag full of books or heavy product.

It is so nice not to have to go to the store, but alot easier to go in debt if you are not careful. lol I do like the convenience, especially for hard to find items.

I buy online all the time. I don't drive here so I would have to haul everything back on the bus. Not only do I not like buses, I don't like the crowds downtown. For me online is easier, quicker and I can do it in my pjs. Ok, I can't take the stuff home with me, but delivery is usually only a few days. I can take my time and not worry about anyone hovering over me like the sales people tend to do.

Online shopping is the best invention in thiese days with absolute security to the personal details and also the hassle free shopping in todays. Ya I definitely like to nuy online as I work and sometimes have no time to visit shops and take time for shopping. And online shopping also provide you with the wide range of variety compared to shopping malls you visit.

I tend to buy (and sell) on eBay and also Amazon and Play. There have been occasions when I can't get to the shops and shopping on line is a lifesaver. Even better when your shopping is delivered to your door :-)

The only shop I do online right now is of magic the gathering cards. There are some nice products available online but most of them are only profitable if you live in the US. Other then that you will have to pay a lot of tax and then its not worth anymore.

It largely depends on the kind of service that is provided. I mean that there are some sites that are very good in providing after sale services while someohter don't. But one thing is sure internet provides us with a larger range of products in a very cost effective way, I do enjoy shopping on the net.

There is not doubt or a second thought about my love for internet. But when it comes to buying on the net, i am a bit skeptical. It's because of some instances. After purchasing some items from a shopping portal, I received the delivery and on opening it found that it was not what i ordered for. Also the material quality was not as assured. Also if it's a electronic good then the warranty issues bug you more

I love buying online as well!!! I have found that usually you have more choices and as good prices as in a real store ... and sometimes cheaper for some things ... for instances books at amazon indeed I also use internet website which "pay me to shop", which means, they give me back a certain percentage or the amount I bought at a specific store ... the great thing is that I had planned to buy in that store anyway PLUS I get money back!!! How neat is that ??!! So yes I love shopping online as well ... and especially during sales, you avoid the hassle of the crowd! I love it ... Do you grocery shop as well? Because I have been looking fr a good website for that but haven't found none...

Yeah. shopping online is really convieninent, and the most important one is that goods online are much more cheaper. and the goods can be delivered to your hands directly. i do not often buy things online, the only once is buying books online, firstly, i'm worrying about the credit of buying things online, but it turned to the result that it is quite safe to buy things online. maybe afterwards, i'll try to buy more things online, to appreciate the advantage of internet.

I would like to buy little and cheap things online, such as toy, book and so on. But in China, many people sell fake commodites online. If you buy clothes online, you will find that the color as well as the cloth are totally different to the pictures they show online. If you buy cell phone online, you will find it will break several months after you buy it because the seller use the old core by changing a new shell on it. Therefore, please take care if you buy stuff online in China.

I loooove to shop online. Ebay and Amazon, Target, and Walmart are the places I buy from most ..but I'll buy most things I'm looking for online when I can. Unless its something I need quickly and can get at Walmart.. or its something heavy that will cost a lot to ship and I dont have a lot of extra cash to waste..then I'll go pick it up somewhere local. I've even ordered groceries online!! LOL but I like to go to the stores and shop sometimes too..just to look at all the stuff and be able to feel it and try it on first before I buy..or just for exercise to get out of the house cuz I work at home and I dont drive, so sometimes I just need to get out. I haven't bought Avon in a long time..but I used to buy it once in a while at the flea market up the road. There's a lady there with a booth every week, and I would go there and get stuff once in a while.

Did you know that some websites now offer a store pick-up ? I do it a lot with lowe's ... you buy online, and then a couple of days after you go pick it up at the store NEAR you, so you can save on the shipping! ... I know that walmart does it too but only in some states - not in mine:( - but to buy DVDs or CDs it's like 97cents, so it is really cheap and you can find titles you wouldn;t get at the store
