Trouble-Shooting, Customer Service, and More...

Okay, don't we all just get frustrated when we're having issues with something, and we have to call customer service, or trouble shooting, and we end up having to talk to either someone we just can't understand no matter what, or someone who just doesn't know what their talking about? Well I don't know about anyone else, but I've got my fair share of this, and let me tell you, it gets right on my nerves. A few days ago i updated a subscription for Windows Live OneCare, it's one of the best services to date for Firewall, Spyware, Virus protection and more. Well, it won't recognize that I've paid for it, so it won't activate. I called in, and what did i get? A guy who first can't really speak English - Err that gets my goat!!! AND He didn't know what he was doing!!! Every couple of seconds he would either repeat himself, or say "Just one minute let me see what's next for me to do" WHAAA? Your kidding me right? Apparently this is a new problem that's plaguing many customers at the present time, and their working to get it dealt with as soon as possible, 2 hours on the darn phone with the guy and this is what he tells me, the stupidity, is everything i have previously done, is everything he wanted me to do... so i did it TWICE!! Don't you hate having to deal with these people who are either completely senseless or English illiterate?

Many, perhaps most major companies are "outsourcing" (sending abroad) their call centers to places where labor is much less expensive (and, apparently, much less dependable). Perhaps they should re-think this policy in light of your response and those of thousands of others.

:S haha sorry bout that hun, why would they do this to us!?!?! gosh you know, i'm just done wondering what the government is doing, cause they don't care about us, just what money they can make off us with Illegal taxation...

yes they can be a real pain in the butt you would not mind if they new what they were talking about but they dont,its a real problem good luck.

I can understand your frustration, I've along with a lot of other people are tired of calling for service only to find out that we are calling India or Some other out of the way place...Only to get a person who doesn't speak the language but don't know what they are doing...I ask them where they are then hang up and call back.. Usually I get someone from the US and they are just reading also from a book....So now my question is can I please talk to your supervisior.....If it's a computer problem I will asked them if they are a real tech or reading....
