Well i am very much aware of these virus and antivirus Stuff. I had faced hell lot of problems with this virus. Ealier i used some free antivirus programs to keep my computer clean. Now i brought one antivirus licence for one year. One of my worst experiences with virus. I was online late night and was in some yahoo chat room where i came across one girl who was so enthusiastic and funny, we started chatting for a while and that was just for few mins very few and the very next minute when the girl said a bye to me i found my system behaving so wierd and just scanned my pc for virus and found out some 900 virus files downloaded on my system. the other day when i came across that girl she told me that she used some program to induct virus into my PC that was really a horrible experience i had.

You dont have to format your computer if you are unable to access it due to a virus. There are a lot of ways, especially of todays technology on how to recover your files or your system to its previous working state.

The best thing to do is to change operating system. Use Linux or better buy an Apple pc and use MAC operating system. However, now that you formatted your pc create a new partition of your hard disk. If you don't know how to do this use a software like Partition Magic: it's fast and easy to use. At this point you have two partitions, one with Windows and software installed and another empty partition. When you create o modify a file make this in the new partition so if your computer becomes disabled to work due to a virus you can format only the partition with Windows and so you can save your files. However there are many ways to recover your files even if you can't use windows: download and burn a Linux live distribution, boot your pc with that and save your files using Linux to a cd/dvd and than format your pc.

if you use windows xp, you must to create a limited account and use it. when you need to install a software then disconnect the current guest user and login with an administrator account. in this way virus don't have permission to install in your system and your data are safe.
