Does not being able to copy/paste here drive you nuts?

I was referred here by a friend from Gather.com. While I understand the reasoning behind not being able to copy/paste until you have a rating of 500+, it is driving me nuts. I have so much I would love to share here, but refuse to hand type it all in from my Word documents. I wish there were an application process that would earn you the rights earlier or some other way to keep the scammers away. What do you think? PS - a bunch of comments to help me get to 500 would be greatly appreciated LOL!

Hi DayDreamBeliever: I know what you mean. When I first started mylot, I was so frustrated with the fact that I couldn't copy/paste. I mean they have their reasons and all, but it seemed to be such an obstacle. Nevertheless, now that I have FINALLY passed the 500 mark I don't even use that obtion much. Maybe once or twice. I guess I am used to typing in all of my responses. - Go Figure!?! Best,

It's not that difficult to gain this 500 level. If you will just concentrate for four days 140 responses a day the target is within your reach. Only thng is don't go for starting any discussions till you make this 500 rating and just go on responding to the discussions started by others. You are supposed to write detailed or descriptive responses but if you want to make this rating target fast then you can very well brief your responses to just five sentences each with some 30 to 40 words so that you will gain a point to every of your resonse otherwise you don't get points to short responses I think. Wish you all the best from oarnamav.

I guess there must be a reason, most of these sites are the same, maybe it makes a difference in the way things work, it is a bother but maybe there is a good reason.

Not really, I don't even copy paste something very often here in myLot. It was ages I copied something and pasted in myLot. Making a habit of copy / paste is not good and thats why I do not prefer this feature. I am a man who want to block this copy / paste feature here in myLot but unfortunately I am not the administrator. This is the only feature who has never irritate me. I wish I will never need to copy paste anything and I want to create that thing by my own creativity I know I am quite creative minded! Anyways, thank you so much to remind me again that I really don't need to copy / paste anything here. Have a very good day! Happy earnings.

The problem is now that TOO many members are abusing the copy/paste option. A lot copy/paste things from blogs that aren't theirs. They also copy/paste whole news stories not providing links etc. It's goteen to be a big problem in the last month or so. So I hardly use that option as it is. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi, Yes the copy/paste function can come in handy at times but you will reach your 500th post quicker than you think (and then you'll probably find you very rarely want to paste anything in anyway :-) ) Oh and I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you'll only get a point for the first response to this discussion
