Do you think that the only people who are exercising their intellect are people with college degrees. Or do you believe that the only valid "smarts" are book smarts? What about people who are smart and world wise and never attended college or may never even have finished high school and yet they are sharp as the proverbial tack.

When you did not finish a college degree it doesn't mean that you have less intellect than someone who have a bachelor's degree or even a master's degree. I believe that education is not only acquired through formal schooling. We also learn from everyday experiences, learning from other people, and being open to new things as well. I should know, I know some people highly educated but still have stupid outlook in life.

I believe in every individual have there own intelligents for a degree holder or only grade school graduate, like some people are good in books only but dont know how to apply in real world only in theories, some are smart enough even they dont have any diploma in creating solution when problem comes, sales person are good with words so they can convince people to make a sales, thats why smart people runs the company hire intelligent people to make the company work.

I can only speak out of my experience ... I didnt attend university til I was 35, after I had 3 kids, was married for 12 years and divorced ... What i realized when I went back to university was ... that i had learned so much from life that university only confirmed what i learned and who i was ....
So no, book smarts is not all of that but it does help to know (or it did for me) ... that what i had learned all those years before school was viable and that someone had thought what i thought hundreds of years before ...
Unfortunately, kids go to school learn all this stuff from books but cant understand the practical til they get out into the world ... they know it in their heads from books but they dont understand it with their hearts until years later ..... and they can't pick and choose what they learn because its force fed to them ... Honestly its not all right and you have to life to debut it .... you dont know anything until you really understand it from experience ...
