everyone has their own reasons and respecting that is important. majority of reasons are they reserve themselves for marriage. and that people are AMAZING people.
i am not a virgin right now and i am 17 years of age. i wasn't able to hold it for long cause i really love my bf and i wanted it to give it to him. my reason of giving it to him is that AT LEAST i was able to give it to the man i really love and love me... cause rape CRIMES are specially on internet are increasing and i dont want my virginity to lose to such crime. i know it's weird and funny to think of that but that's the strongest point i'm getting my guts to have no regrets upon losing it.

Aengelusz.. it is indeed strange that people have different reason to be a virgin... Well There is no regrets... Well i dont think people regret it even after losing it.. Its just the mindset before u lose ur virginity .. The world will not come to an end even if someone lose thier virginity .. So i would say chill

it is the matter of culture where we are. For most asian people, virginity symbolizes something very honourable of a girl. Long long time ago there were even some honour from the palace for those widow who stay widow, funny isn't it. I pesonally think that virginity also quite important, especially for young girls. However, if we somehow married to a widow or whosoever who is not young anymore, do not expect something so naive. You are right, it is a matter of small tissue, some surgery can repair it. The more important thing is you love her with your whole heart.

Why would virginity be important for young girls but not young men? Seems a little one sided. I think people should encourage young people to be celibate and quit condemning girls who choose to be sexually active while cheering on their younger brothers for scoring with the prom queen. Just doesn't make sense.

I'm not sure what the virgin fuss is all about, myself. Let me say, I'd rather have an experienced partner as opposed to someone who doesn't know what they are doing and may be afraid. I wouldn't want someone who's had 1000 partners or anything, but experience is a plus. People who aren't virgins are more open to suggestion and experimentation, you could have more fun with a non virgin than with a virgin. Unless you're perv that gets off on deflowering young girls. lol. I don't see what the big deal is either.
