responses how do i read them?

First of all wellcome to myLot. In response to your question, you should do this - from the horizontal menu chose "discussions" and then, from the left panel, under "discussions" category (under your profile picture) chose "discussions i've started". This should take you to your own discussions, being able to read responses within them. Hope this helps, if you have any other questions regarding myLot, do not hesitate to post them here.
