Thin with protruding belly. Is lipo the last result? Need your advice.

I've always wanted a flat abdomen. Mine has always been huge even when I am quite thin during my childhood day. Back then, I looked like a malnourished child-stick thin with protruding belly. I weight normal for my height and its pretty stable. But fats seem to concentrate on my abdomen. And according to experts, exercise targetting specific areas does not work. Do you think liposuction will do for me what exercise and diet can't. Should I go for it?

Hei girl, I have same problem with you. As many friends, I don't recommend liposuction either. The best way as my experience is with exercise especially sit-up. I did it in 3 set @20 times (60 times together) everyday. It works. In 2 months you'll see the result. If you are thin, so don't worry about diet. Just eat regularly in smaller portion. Don't be down, keep trying... Good luck !

I'll try this one. I heard that sit-ups are not effective but since it worked for you then it might work for me too. I never gave this a thought before since I read that celebrities like Britney Spears and Janet Jackson do 1,000 sit-ups a day and I would torture my body that way. 60 sit-ups a day seems probable for me so I'll give it a go.

I'm so glad you try it. Don't ever give it up till you get what you dreamed about. I did it because I saw the interview with Janet Jakcson in Oprah show. Just be patience, not too forcing it cause you'll get bored. Once again keep the fire of flat abdomen.

First, I would get a complete check-up and ask my doctor WHY my stomach was so large. It could be a sign of an internal problem; enlarged liver or spleen, hernia, etc. If the doctor says you are OK; then, I would work on building muscle on the rest of my body to make the belly less noticeable. Exercise can also help reduce your waist IF there is no other physical reason for your stomach protruding.

Ewww no, have you ever seen lipo on tv? It's horrible. Are you even sure it's fat? My stomach was like that when I was younger and it turned out to be just that my ab muscles weren't strong enough. Try flewing your stomach and poking where u feel it's fat, if it doesn't feel soft when flexed its not fat its soft muscle and you just need to strenghten it.
