Who should be the captain of india - GANGULY or DRAVID ???

Hello Friends,
There is a major controvercial topic that whether Dravid should be continued as a captain or Ganguly should be back as a captain. I think that Ganguly can be a better captain as he had proved this by became most successful captain of INDIA.
So what you people say about it ???

Leave aside who should be the captain .. what difference does it make when out players are performing well .. What will happen if all the top order batsmen can score runs and out strike bowlers pick just 2 wickets each .. cant we win matches ? its all the hype thats created by the media which is ruining the Indian Cricket team. The media have created the gap between the team members, They have developed this attitude factor among the senior players. Dravid is good player as well as ganguly is .. only difference between them is Agression which Dravid lacks .. and off course off late he is cultivating that habbit of being aggressive. I do agree the fact that Ganguly was the best Caption for india in Worldcups but now is it really a necessary issue to talk about this and create yet again a small doubt among the players. I am totally aginst these issues. Who ever be the captain let our players come out and perform well to their potential then why cant india win the Worldcup lets see.

Firstly I would like to thanks you for the response. Then I will say that its a issue on which we should talk. Coz as u said that Dravid has lack of agression, thts the point where the difference comes. Being a captain a person should have agression, without that no one can handle the team or we should say control the team.
Therefore in my opinion Ganguly is the better captain

i do agree with you Ganguly is a better captain when compared with anyone who are in the team and who can lead the team now. but what i intended to say was thought we sratch our threads and discuss upon this matter there wont be any change in the captaincy. Now if there is a change in the captaincy at this crucial stage of the worldcup wont that be demoralising Dravid. Anyways its all the matter of facts and numbers which make us feel that dravid is stuggling as a captain.
We all know forehand that dravid isnt agressive right from the day he came into the team. I strongly do support ur view that ganguly was a good captain. I am not any more expecting any change in the captaincy cause all the big heads can share their views and win matches in the interest of the team rather than being personal.

now that the wc is over for India, i think its time to make sourav ganguly the captain.

i think the mental strength & body language of rahul dravid is not upto the mark. on the other hand, sourav ganguly is in a very good form & has the mindset required by a succesful captain. he himself has recovered from a serious situation threatning his place in the Indian cricket team. hence i think he has the capability to tahk India away from this pretty bad position. he is an aggressive captain. and, i think in cricket, its the aggressiveness of a captain which helps the team to win. he has a pretty good body language & confidence. under his captaincy only India was able to reach to the finals in the 2003 world cup. i think, there is no other player than him, who has the capability of captaining the 'present'(almost a looser team) Indian cricket team.

I feel that ganguly should be the captain of Indian team as he leads the team well. And we all know that we have reached in the final in the last world cup when Saurav Ganguly was the captain. Saurav is a good leader and can handle pressure very well and so he should be the captain.

I think the time has come to change the Team.. And firstly Captain.. We shold look for the future and i think Yuvraj must be the better option.. Because he has talent and agression and now a days he is more matured.. He is growing as a future Captain.. And I dont there any other option left.. If selectors stick with old players then Dravid is better option..
