High Speed Internet!

Hi All, I have just finally joined the world of high speed internet and I love it! Windstream dsl finally came into my little corner of the world and we were one of the first 45 customers to sign up! We have been trying for several years, but we were always told that we are just too far out to get it! Maybe they got tired of everyone out this way complaining about it? hehehehee It is actually fun to surf the net now! I don't even have to stare at a blank screen everytime I search for something, and I can watch a video all at once instead of in spirts as it loads and buffers! Dang it's good to be on the same page as everyone else!

Congratulations sis. I am thrilled to know that you made the plunge. You will just love it now, and become an addict more so to the computer. :)

Thanks sis! Yeh it's about time our area started living in this century! Oh boy, more addicted I don't need, but it will help me with my business big time! I will be able to order my stock without it taking all day! Love ya toots, Dee

Thanks! Yeh it is truely amazing! I have been waiting forever it seems. Oh boy, you and margieanne my sister both said the same thing! I don't need to get anymore addicted to the computer really, but I spend around 10 or 12 hours a day working with my business, so maybe I can cut that time down now? So I can be on mylot more! hehhehehehehee Did I say that? hehehee

Nice :-) I got a 8 mbit line a few months back and I just got a letter from my provider saying that they are upgrading my connection to 20 mbit without extra charge... Nice... What am I going to do with a connection like that!? :-D

Thanks, I am so happy! We got the Windstream 4200 modem and they did say that when they have it fine tune our speed would be doubled. I can't imagine after the difference we have already! I am wondering too what I will ever do with all that speed! Thanks again, and have a nice day!

Yes, I know it is almost everywhere, but I live so far out in the country, it just now got to us! We were on dial-up connection and it was sooooooo slow you wouldn't believe it, and kept getting kicked off the net because our phone lines were so old, put in somewhere between 1958 and 1964 and they were very bad to say the least.

Your discussion was full of information but I am still suffering from slow internet. I am from Pakistan and in this part of the World, high speed Internet is available like DSL but not where I live. I hope someday the Internet companies hear to our miseries and complaints and give service in my area. Till then I am waiting. Congratulation to you having this facilty at your door step.
