Football

I like football but I think it's a violent sport. My husband had his leg broken bad when he was 14 years old playing football. Funny when I came here to the US I thought football was the same than what we call football in Europe but then I found out that one is called soccer here. Soccer is a sport where you can only use your feet to kick the ball so it is logical to call it that way. But for the football game here I see that they use both hands and feet so I don't see why it is called football.

I don't like it... it's boring to me. I understand it and all but can't seem to really get into it or enjoy it. It's just so long and boring...

First of all you should have written whether you are talking about soccer or american football,as if its american football,well i dont have any clue about it,but if its about soccer man i love the game and i play as goal keeper for a local club aswell,my favourite teams in internation soccer includes,brasil,france,england and portugal,while when it comes to club soccer i like arsenal,manchester united,barcelona and liverpool.

I used to think football was stupid. (are you talking about NFL or soccer?) I had no interest in it, but I did sit through Penn State games with the family. Now that my son is a football player, and I have a better understanding of the game, I love it! He still rolls his eyes when I ask what he thinks are stupid questions. I love watching him play, and I enjoy watching the Steelers play. Last football season, I watched a majority of the NFL games, and now I can tell someone who a certain player is, what team he plays for and what his position is. Who are your favorite players? I like Heinz Ward, Troy Palamalu, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady. I'm sure there are others I like but I can't think of them.
