Update on my preterm labor

So, I posted a thread here a few weeks ago when I went into preterm labor. I am now 31 weeks and steady holding! Yes, I have been doing much better, not many contractions so the pills every 6 hours seem to be working. The doctor did say he figured the baby would most surely com early so I received the two steroid shots to mature the babies lungs this week. But the good news is that I am already through the major developmental milestones so things should be okay. Just wanted to update you all! Thanks for all the concerned people! I really enjoy knowing that there are good people here at mylot who actually care!

I had early babies and premature labor. 31 weeks is still way early...Try and keep those babies in if possible till 36 weeks for the best outcome. At 31 weeks the baby is maybe a pound maybe 2 if that. That is tiny. So your not past any major hurtle. Drink plenty keep legs up and only get up to bathroom and bath. Its important for that little one. Come from somebody else who has been through preterm labor for all 3 babies born and premie babies.

Wwo congratulations and hopefully the birth will go smoothly. It is amazing how much medicine has moved forward.
