wifi access for nokia n80?

i have new nokia n 80 cellphone, its capable for wireless connection, it was able to detect wireless signal, signal strength is 100%, its an open network so it wouldnt ask for a password, but when i tried connection to the available wireless network, it tell me : cannot connect to the wireless network." is there something else i need to so, maybe check some settings, where shoule i go to change or add something so that i can connect to the wireless...also there are lots of wifi hot spot, its still not working..any diea?
