Hi there. I had never heard of the anti-virus software you are using now, maybe you have got used to it, so you take it for a best one of so many anti-viruses. My anti-virus is kaspersky 6.0, it works well with my computer, and I'm very satisfied with it, but I don't like the sound when it deletes a virus.

I use SUPER ANTI SPY-WARE FREE EDITION they scan way down deep into the drives and memories and get rid of all the nasty,s. best of all they just want a donation for their services. Also have a THE SHIELD ANTI VIRUS PROTECTION. this one i pay $35.00 a year which is cheap for a whole year of 24/7 of protection. If one virus remover don,t get them all the other one will get the rest. This protection scans by it self when i set the date, the other protection i run manually daily. Source(s): I,ve read it,s good to have a virus back-up. Two,s better than one.they also don,t recommend it because one sometimes rides over the other one, but i haven,t any problem. The spy,s and viruses will get into your settings and will slow the thing down TO A CRAWL then you,ll need it cleaned for about $150.00 and setting,s put back in by a computer tech.

I've never heard of Avash. I use Norton Anti-Virus. I've used it for years and have never had a problem with it. I may check out that Avash, though. you never know when you may come across something better.

Good for you! For paid version, you could try Kaspersky and Symantec antivirus. These two softwares do its jobs pretty well. It is very effective when it comes on scanning and detecting malwares and viruses. For free version, you could try AVG, AVAST, and AVIRA. Currently, I am using Avira AntiVir Personal Classic Edition. Since using this one, I have never encountered any problems at all with regards to the overall function and system performance of my machine. I have been using this software for almost two years. It updates regularly and can be scheduled at your most convenient time or spare time. It is very light on resources and does not use a lot of memory. It does not slow down your computer. It detects and deletes rootkits, worms, viruses, etc. Overall, I am quite satisfied with its performance because it does its jobs very well. Have a nice day and God speed!
