Hey everyone, I was cleaning up after feeding my daughter, Brooke and she started to fuss and whine in my grandmother's arms. Brooke could see me in the kitchen and I was talking to her telling her to hang on I'd be there in a second. All of a sudden she said "mamama" very clearly and started to cry. I had to verify with my nanny that she had said what I thought, she agreed. I went over and praised her, picked her up for a hug and she stopped crying. This was a very cool moment. Now I have to mention that she is only 4 1/2 months old but she has been consistently early with every single thing. She rolled all the way over at just 7 weeks and was sitting up at 3 months, etc. I know she might not say it again for a while but it was amazing to hear. What do you guys think, and does anyone else have a story about their baby's first word?

my baby said ma when she was 7 months old and has been adding on small words since then, but nothing major. She too started rolling over when she was 7 weeks old and crawling on her stomach andhands when she was just 4 months old. It feels amazing when your baby calls out to you, doesnt it ?

Yea, I thought that was when they were supposed to say ma, since right now the only constants they are supposed to be able to make are l, k, g and n. That's amazing that your daughter could move herself along at 4 months. Brooke is just starting to inch heself down the bed, but she's not really a fan of being on her belly anymore.
