For Women -- How many of you read romance novels and why?

I have to say I do read them at times and see where most of this comes from and why women find romance novels interesting. Adventure, romance, passion, suspense, drama, action, thriller -- Women that seek adventure and want their feet swept away from the right man. My girlfriend can't get enough of romance novels. Women find romance and love as a journey -- Something to make interesting, creative and something they've never done or experience before. What do you say about this?

i don't read romance novels. i'd prefer reading books that can improve my craft/skills or autobiographies of great leaders such as george soros, lee iaccoca, paul zane pilzer, donald trump, etc.

I read romance novels all the time. Especially the historical romance novels. I love a happy ending and there is always a happy ending in a romance novel.

I do love reading romance novel. Actually, i read one book in one sitting. I don't know why but it gives me some sort of happiness. Maybe because most romance novels have happy endings and that's what I always longed for... true happiness.
